A Sub-Zero water or ice dispenser usually stops working because of a clogged filter, a closed supply valve, a frozen water line in the door, a failed water valve, a failed dispenser switch or actuator, or a control fault.
Dispenser models (such as the BI-42SD and BI-48SD) add water lines, valves and switches to the door.
Check These First (5 Minutes, No Tools)
- Replace the water filter if overdue.
- Check the water supply valve is open.
- Dispense a few glasses to see if flow improves.
- Check the dispenser isn't locked.
